Glenn Thompson was a colleague, team leader, friend and my district director.
Glenn understood Extension, was knowledgeable, compassionate and a cheerleader in any position he was in. He was a good listener, provided direction as well as a challenge to go beyond where you were at.
It was Glenn Thompson who believed in me and gave me direction as the first woman office chair in WI. It was Glenn Thompson who called me into his office to inform me of his new position as State Program Leader in Agriculture and encouraged me to apply for the Central District Director Position which I held for 15 years until I retired.
He will always be remembered for his guidance and challenges during my Extension career.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time.
Sincerely,
Mary Ann Dehn Genson
