I have memories of Glenne spending summers in Lansford with her grandmother Hazel. Glenne was quiet and sweet and her grandmother was always so happy to have her with her.

First saw her in, "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" and thought she was a very attractive and talented actress. Loved her in, "Mr Holand's Opus" as well. "Sandy Bottom Orchestra". Also enjoyed her on, "ER"! The world lost a very special actress at to me a rather young age. My deepest sympathies to her husband and Son. Look forward to seeing her in Heaven when I die.

I was shocked and devastated when I heard the news about Glenne being taken so unexpectedly from her family, still in the prime of her life.
I knew Glenne as a strong and vocal advocate for electric cars, long before they became as mainstream as they are today. She was a wonderful friend and ally to me back when I was selling RAV4 EV's in Hollywood.
After Toyota discontinued the RAV4 EV, Glenne and I spent a lot of time strategizing about what could be done to try to help "save" the electric car. Her husband Byron even accompanied me once to a company in the San Gabriel Valley to try to see if there was anything we could do to help them with their goal to begin mass producing their electric car prototype.
It has been about 10 years since I spoke to her last, but I have thought of her often over the years. I always intended to catch up with her again someday, and now I deeply regret not doing it before it was too late. Glenne was a truly amazing and compassionate person, and I will miss her greatly. There is a hole in my heart that will never heal.
My sympathies and condolences to Byron, Stirling, and everyone else who was blessed enough to know what a special person she was.

Families love movies, as our family loved Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Our children are all now either college, grad school or professional careers. No Christmas has passed without at least one, 'Let's watch Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.' to total agreement. Glenne made the movie. We were all shocked and truly saddened on hearing of her untimely passing. Our love to her family. We miss her as an actress, but a mother is a familiy's heart. As our family, we watched DRS in Phoenix, AZ, Boston, MA, Santa Cruz, CA, London,UK and Aberdeen, Uk, last night and toasted the fabulous Miss Glenne Headley to the stars. Our prayers and condolences.

It is so hard to say goodbye to yesterday but Glenne will stay with us today and always. She was just out of college and wanted to see her college girlfriend who was my girlfriend in California. I purchased round trip airline tickets from New York to California for Glenne as a birthday wish for my girlfriend one day in September. Glenne was going to stay a few weeks at most which was extended by six months. A drought in California made winter seem like summer while New York had turned up it's harshness and made staying longer easier. She turned in her return airline ticket saying flying was not her preferred way of traveling and booked train passage. Somewhere in time she became acquainted with Chicago and Steppenwolf Theater Company a stepping stone in her acting career.
