We are heartbroken to share the news of Gloria Aiello (née Severson), who passed away on July 14, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. Born on May 11, 1955, in Wilmington, Delaware, Gloria lived a life marked by deep family connections and enduring strength.

Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Sam R. Aiello and a devoted mother to her children, Michael B. Zajac and Jaclyn A. Miller, both of whom preceded her in death. She is lovingly remembered by her surviving son, Michael T. Zajac.

Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Austin Zajac, Cheyanne Zajac, Watson Zajac, Corinne Zajac, Emma Miller, Danny Aiello, Sam Aiello, Amanda Aiello, Nicolas Belluomini, Julia Belluomini, and Gia Belluomini. Gloria also held a special place in her heart for her step-children Sammy Aiello and Nicole Aiello.

Gloria was one of eight siblings and is survived by her sister Lois Seiwert. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert Severson and Alice Severson (née Buttle), as well as her brothers John Severson, Roger Severson, Wayne Severson, Rick Severson, and her sister Norma O'Gradney.

Throughout her life, Gloria remained a pillar of strength for those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her. A Committal Service will be held on July 29, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at St. Boniface Cemetery 4901 N Clark St, . Everyone should meet at the chapel. We will go together to the site. This is a committal service for Gloria Aiello and Jaclyn Miller.

My husband and I have been searching for contact information on both Gloria and Sam. We were in their wedding and my husband goes back many years with Sam. You have our deepest condolences . Tom and Carol Intrieri. We moved from the Chicago area to New York. If you have an opportunity please reach out to us and let us know when Sam passed. You can email us at [email protected].
