Gloria "Yoya" J. Hernandez (nee Jimenez) passed away on April 12, 2024, in San Diego, CA, at the age of 55. She was born on April 29, 1968, in Orange, CA. Gloria was the beloved mother of Thalia L., Gerardo H., Alicia H., and Emily H. She was preceded in death by her grandson Elijah, brothers, mother, and great-grandmother.

Gloria, known to her loved ones as "Yoya," was a devoted mother and a pillar of strength. She was described as the most strong, loving, feisty, and fun human being. Gloria's hobbies included shopping, spending time with family, and being there for her children and others.

She attended Morse High School and was a member of St. John of the Cross parish for worship. A closed casket mass in her honor will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe on April 18, 2024, at 12:00 PM.

The funeral services for Gloria "Yoya" Hernandez will be handled by Aztlan Funeral Home. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
