Gloria B. Witoslawski, 89, of Lansdale, passed away peacefully at the Peter Becker Community Home on Monday, July 31, 2017. Born in Nanticoke on October 26, 1927, she was the daughter of the Steven and Anna (Loftus) Rentko. Gloria had five siblings: Michael, Steven, Albert, Joseph and Lucille. Gloria married her beloved husband, John, on August 2, 1950. She and John moved to Philadelphia in 1951, before settling in Lansdale 1959, where they became active members of St. Stanislaus Parish. She loved spending as much time with her family as possible. Over the years she enjoyed trips to the casinos, Myrtle Beach, Disney World and across the country. She loved to laugh and dance and enjoyed singing along to musicals. She was also an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies. Gloria is survived by her siblings, Michael and Lucille; her children, Richard Witoslawski (Mary Ellen), of Ocean View, Delaware; John Witoslawski (Veronica), of Cooperburg; Mark Witoslawski (Nicole), of Harleysville; Lisa Sinn (Christopher) of Lansdale; her grandchildren, Justin (Haviv) & Drew Witoslawski; David (Brittany) & Taryn Witoslawski; Erica, Ryan & Cole Witoslawski; Alexa & Jacob Sinn; and her great-granddaughter, Cylena Witoslawski. Her boisterous laugh, warm heart and generous spirit will be truly missed by all those whose lives she touched. Relatives and friends will be received by her family on Saturday, August 5 after 9:00 a.m. in Saint Maria Goretti R.C. Church, 1601 Derstine Rd., Hatfield, and are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral home, Lansdale. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Gloria’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
