Glynn's Family, Glynn was my resident advisor at UVa first year in Bonnycastle dorm. Glynn made such an impression on all of us in the dorm. We knew she was special and would go on to do great things. I've since read up on her life journey and she did just that. But even more than accomplishments, Glynn made connections with people; she built relationships, she was our trusted advisor. A remarkable woman. God bless. Jean Hanson Ballard Class 88 UVA

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Key,

I grew up with Glennie, as Stephanie and I called her. We are the daughters of Al and Marquita Harris.

I am devastated by your loss. As I think of the wonderful times our families shared together, and the hopes and the dreams you instilled in us, I have nothing but sorrow in my heart.

Please know that you are in our prayers. May the Lord bless you and keep you; May He cause His face to shine upon you; May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.

With sincere condolences,

To Glynn's Family,

I have not seen Glynn since college and I am writing because her charm, talents and profound goodness have stayed with me all these years.
Glynn was the real deal - funny, intelligent, caring, driven - and always willing to share her gifts with others. And this was college - when most people were still trying to figure out who they were. Glynn was just so singularly impressive.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I know Glynn is praying for us all. Michael Connors, UVA '85.

Please accept my deepest and most sincere condolences at the passing of your loved one, Glynn Key. Glynn and I attended UVA together -- both undergraduate and law school. While I didn't know her very well on a personal level, we played "pick-up" basketball together occasionally at the student recreation center at UVA. She was always very friendly and an extremely gifted athlete. I was a scholarship player on the UVA women's basketball team and always wondered why Glynn was not playing college basketball somewhere -- she was THAT GOOD. Later, I realized that she probably chose not to play college basketball because she had so many gifts and talents -- God had bigger and better things in store for her. Her numerous accomplishments at UVA and beyond are proof of that. She definitely was a "shining star." I pray that the family is able to find peace and comfort in the knowledge that Glynn lived a full life and left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. God bless!

We considered Glynn "family" and enjoyed watching her evolve into a beautiful and compassionate young woman during her UVA days and beyond. We loved her smile, laugh, wit, intelligence,....
