Nov. 26, 1915-Jan. 21, 2011
Goldie Marsh of Sunnyvale passed away peacefully on January 21. Born in Oil City, PA, November 26, 1915, Goldie was the youngest of three children of Laura and Edward Burkett.
Preceded in death by her three husbands; Leroy Schwab who died in a WW II prison camp after his plane was shot down over Germany, Edward Souza who was killed in a Naval plane crash in Douglas, AZ, and Frederick Marsh who died in 1995.
She is survived by her daughter Vicki La Mar, her son Edward Souza, her grand daughter Tracy Deegan, and her two stepsons Jeff and Frederik Marsh.
Goldie will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother with a heart of gold who was always there to help. She loved fishing, gambling, and fashion, and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at LIMA & CAMPAGNA SUNNYVALE MORTUARY, 1315 Hollen beck Ave., Sunnyvale. A reception will follow at Goldie's residence in Sunnyvale. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington DC, 20090-6011. Please note on the donation: In Memory of Goldie Marsh.
