I attended Mr.B's chef training course for my last years of high school. He was a great chef and a wonderful man. His persistance to see all his students succeed could have only been overshadowded by his patients. He helped many studends realize their potential while bulding up confidence in anything they did. He was an inspiration to us all and will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Gordon was a fine man, talented chef & teacher and truly an inspirational human being. I took the Chef Training Program at Carson Graham and have gone on to pursue cooking as my career. I accredit Mr B with any successes I have had.
My thoughts are with you Mr. B.
Thank you.

I attended Carson Graham Secondary Chef Training. I was in Mr.Brilz's (Mr.B) first class he taught there. Poor guy, he had big shoes to fill, however he succeeded very well. He changed the kitchen around making it an extraordinary experience for my last two years at high school! I will always miss his jokes, honesty and talent not only as a teacher but as a great cook. My heart goes out to all he has met! Forever missed!

We called him Mr.B.
He was someone who set my standards of work which are still with me to this day. For the few years I knew him, he was great guy. He taught me how to work in a kitchen in high school from 1999-2002. He will be missed and remembered. If there ends up being a service in Vancouver please let everyone know.
Kindest regards

May you find strength in the love of family and in the warm embrace of friends.
