GORDON BULAT Obituary
It is with great sadness that we are announcing the passing of Gordon Andrew Bulat (Husband, Brother, Grandpa, Papa, Godparent and Dad) on May 13, 2014. Gordon lived a full life during his 71 years. He was born in Edmonton on August 7, 1942 and, as an avid Golfer, Fisherman and Epicurean, happily called Edmonton his home.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Lana; children Chantel (Jeff) Hodgson of Edmonton, Duane (Jennifer) of Prince Albert, SK, Daren (Roxanne Kosiorek) of Calgary and Dan (Heather Davidson) also of Calgary. He also leaves behind his pride and joy: five granddaughters Jovie, Claudia, Taryn, Emma and Natalie as well as four grandsons Jack, Stephan, Mitchell and Gordon (Junior). He is also survived by his sister Lorraine (Eric) Young, their daughters Sydney, Arden, Clare and Jill, and special friends Harry and Betty Cogill.
He was predeceased by his parents Steve and Leona.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2014 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 210 Haddow Close, Edmonton.
The family wishes to thank the courageous and amazing staff of the St. Joseph's Auxiliary Hospital, Palliative Hospice Unit for their competence and compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Joseph's Auxiliary Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care Unit, 10707 - 29 Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T6J 6W1.

My heart is full of fond memories of Gord,Lorraine, and their parents. Visits to Boyle, university days - Gord driving me to school - picking mushrooms, delightful times living with the family on 105 BS street - I am laughing through my tears!! Gord always had that smile that lit up a room, a personality to warm hearts and a keen sense of humour !! May Heavenly Father bless and comfort you and give you strength to carry on as Gord would want you to do - he is in great company on the other side -love to all

To Lana and Family: Sylvia and I were so sorry to learn of Gordon's passing and send our warmest sympathies to you and your family. We knew Gordon was dealing with issues after seeing you all at the Faculty Club but he was in such good spirits that the other matters were simply forgotten. Gordon was a good friend and wonderful person who will be sadly missed.
