Dear Family, I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Emerson—I just want to tell you how inspiring the stories in the Packet about him are—a life well lived.
I will share the Packet issue with my Grandchildren in hopes that they will be inspired too.

Another tall tree falls in the blue hill forest. Guess ill have to do my own thinking from now on.After all these years-Blue Hill without Gordon is going to be a very different place. Not many tall trees left. Go easy hoss...............you will never be forgotten as long as your name is in our thoughts.
