Gordon Medendorp Obituary
The son of Orwin & Alice (Klemp) Medendorp, he was born on December 20, 1935 in Muskegon. After graduating from Muskegon High School, Gordon then went on to work for Brunswick Corp. where he retired after 42 years. Shortly after retiring Gordon and his wife moved to Florida. Years later he decided to move back to Michigan and be closer to his family. Gordon had many passions but his favorite thing to do was spending time with his family. His daughters and their families meant the world to him and playing with the grandkids brought him such joy.
Gordon was preceded in passing by his parents; and loving wife, Charlene of 47 years. Surviving are his daughters, Susan (Dan) Neuman, Deb Medendorp, Denise Olds, Ann (Lloyd) Tuskan and Deanna (Tom) Vogeler; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
A private celebration of life, will be held for Gordon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to, Faith Hospice, 2100 Raybrook SE, Suite 300, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. www.faithhospicecare.org/donate/

Deb, Denise, Sue, Ann and Deanna.....my deepest sympathy to all of you! I wish there was something to say that would help ease the pain within that you are all feeling, but there isn't. Cherish the memories....love all of you!!
