Gordon served on the church vestry twice and was actively involved in Agape Ministries. Dorothy lost her battle with cancer in 1982. Gordon remarried in 1984 to Vicki Sommers. Unfortunately I'll miss the celebration of a Grand Mentor's Life today. Mr Sommers, "The Gordy" is the Foundation upon which the AF ISR / Cyber mission is built. It was his steady Hand, guiding Intellect and tireless Dedication that nursed the infancy of the Missions and lead us to the Air Force capabilities we have today!!! I am very proud to have been a part of his team and celebrate his Life and Accomplishments!!!
Watch over us from the "Wild Blue Yonder"!!!
Bless You my Friend!!!

Mr. Sommers - you are the best of men I have known. I always so appreciated your time and attention down in the SX vault. I spent my entire career following the advise and direction you shared with me. Thank you for all. Best for you and those you have now reconnected with. Always, in my thoughts, Robert (Bob) Benson
