Grace FLASKA Obituary
January 20, 1919 - March 21, 2015
On March 21, 2015, Grace M. Flaska of Waskatenau, Alberta passed away at the age of 96. She is survived by her loving family: sister, Margaret (Stewart) Crerar; daughters, Carol (John) Howie and Margaret (Jim) Mackie; four grandchildren, Heather Howie (Adam Rourke), Scott Howie, and David and Jimmy Mackie; five great-grandchildren, Matthew, Justin, Nigel, Madeline, and Elliott. Grace is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charlie, in 1973, by her parents, Robert and Margaret Forbes, and by her siblings Anne Lawrence and Robin Forbes.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Waskatenau Community Centre on May 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Earle Sharam officiating.
In lieu of floral tributes, if desired, donations in memory of Grace may be made to the Waskatenau United Church Memorial Fund, Box 392, Waskatenau, Ab. T0A 3P0 or the Lamont Health Care Centre - Patient Comforts, Box 479, Lamont, Ab. T0B 2R0 or a charity of one's choice.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and caregivers at the Lamont Health Care Centre for the wonderful care given to Grace over the past year and a half.

Sincere condolences on the passing of Grace. Truly a special human being. I was a former student of hers ... And my mom and dad visited her and Charlie often.
