Grace Williams Guercio, of Boulder, CO, formerly of Glendale, CA passed away due to natural causes on August 23, 2010 in Denver, CO.
Grace was born on October 11, 1923 in Chicago, IL to Warren Williams and Gertrude Person. She married James Guercio on September 25, 1943. He passed away in 1998 after 55 years of marriage. She was a very loving and devoted mother leaving behind many fond experiences and memories of all she touched.
Survivors include her children James Williams (Lucy) Guercio of Nederland, CO, Noel (JD) Fleshman of Boyce, VA, Mark (Paula) Guercio of Nederland, CO, Gina Colburn of Boulder, CO, and Gary (Heather) Guercio of Saugus, CA; grandchildren Kathryn (Ethan ) Martin, William Guercio, Mark Guercio, Aaron Guercio, Adam Fleshman, Peter Guercio, Ashley Colburn, Gabrielle Guercio, Jeffrey Colburn, and Grayson Guercio. Grace was preceded in death by her husband James and her son Jeffery.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 27, 2010 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 904 14th Street, Boulder, CO. Father Kevin Augustyn will officiate. Interment will be private.
Contributions in Grace's honor may be made to Health Link Foundation, 3101 Iris Ave., Suite 200, Boulder, CO 80301, Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation, www.komen.org , or to a charity of your choice.
