Grace Frances Iannuzzo

Grace Frances (Sheppard) Iannuzzo, 83, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, where she was born and spent much of her life.

Born on September 21, 1941, in Portsmouth to Harold Sheppard and Bessie LaCava, Grace grew up in the historic Puddle Dock neighborhood. She often shared vivid stories of her childhood along the waterfront, recalling a close-knit community that shaped her early years and remained dear to her heart throughout her life.

Grace was known for her kind and caring nature. Her warmth extended beyond her family to friends and neighbors alike. One of her most cherished traditions was making hand-painted crafts as Christmas gifts. Each year, picking a different nautical theme inspired by the town she grew up in. One of the most notable being miniature versions of the tugboats seen in Portsmouth's harbor. These crafts are still treasured by those who received them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Amedeo Iannuzzo; her parents; and her sister, Frances Kost. Her memory lives on through those who loved her deeply: her sister Carol Hinton, daughter Gina Patch of Portsmouth; granddaughters Hannah Grace Patch and Mari Bess Patch; and son Daniel Iannuzzo.
