I've told the story many times of playing 'Alberta' baseball with a 3rd base player who lassoed any runner trying to pass by. Grant was fun and funny and we'll miss him. I'm sure he's making our mothers laugh right now. I pray for all three of them.

Grant MacPherson ......was one of the kindest people I have had the joy to be a friend of.... A true Earth Angel...He had one the most unique laughs...you couldn't help but notice....and join in on.

We were all shocked and deeply saddened to hear about Grant's passing. Like his other "up home cousins", my week has been filled with wonderful memories of our years growing up together in Bellevue. We were daily fixtures in each other lives, a fact attested to by the worn path between our homes. I am so happy that Grant got to meet my kids a few years ago. They too now have fond memories of doing speed walking races with him along Crescent Beach. No one could beat him. No one ever will.

Grant was our "down home" little buddy and I our little "brother" in all ways ..in Bellevue,P.E.I ...We loved and remember his smile, brushcut hairstyle, freckles, dirty face and knees, shirtless outfits, short legs running after his sisters and cousins...(he rapidly overcame that);and
his shared love for his "up-home "family...his love of animals; and we followed his happiness and success in Drayton Valley with Shari, Jesse and Bailey.
Life doesn't always allow us ongoing contact but it does allow us everlasting memories .. Forever young ..Grant
