HOXIE - James Gregory "Greg" Ditto, 58, of Hoxie died Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Greg was born in Walnut Ridge on Nov. 7, 1964, to James and Mary Matthews Ditto. He was of the Methodist belief.
Greg was a disabled U.S. Army veteran. He served our country as military police and in military intelligence. He lived in Hoxie but he had traveled to many countries while in the military.
Preceding him in death were his father, James Ditto, and his brother, Terry Lee Ditto.
Survivors include his wife, Marianne Ditto of the home; his mother, Mary Ditto of Hoxie; sons, Alex Ditto of Jonesboro and Lt. Col. Jeremy E. Tillman (Cassie) of Springfield, Va.; daughters, Rachael Ditto of Paragould and Jennifer Kapper (Chad) of O'Fallon, Mo.; sisters, Mary Harp of Walnut Ridge and Charlotte Jones of Fayetteville; brother, Stephen Ditto of Walnut Ridge; eight grandchildren; and many family members and friends.
Visitation was from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with the funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. Interment, with military honors, was in Lawrence Memorial Park at Walnut Ridge, under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Homes of Walnut Ridge and Lynn.
