In forty years in MENSA I only ever got forty emails, all in the last three months .. all signed Greg! The lad was a genuine inspiration - we met for three hours once and I talked for thirty minutes! Am really quite saddened to hear this. To Greg's family, my deepest sympathies.

I only recently met Greg. He contacted me last December with regards to his involvment with Mensa. I am a reportor with the LaSalle Post and wrote story on his recent interest in the organization. We sat down for a couple of hours on a Sunday this past January and talked. ( mostly he talked...lol) I was shocked to hear of his passing. I'm fortunate enough in my daily work to meet some really amazing folks...Greg was one of those people. He had a passion in life and his community. I could tell immediately when we sat down to talk. Prayers to the entire family, he will be missed.

I am dumbfounded; this man was in the picture of health when I last saw him. I only recently met him, but that one meeting (and an exchange of some emails) was sufficient to indicate to me that his dynamic and relentless presence will be sadly and sorely missed. Southwestern Ontario Mensa, and humanity for that matter, has suffered a tremendous loss with his passing. I am forever enriched for having known him the brief time I did. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

I only recently had the pleasure of communicating with Greg, and am sincerely saddened at his passing. He brought a vitality and enthusiasm to the South-western Mensa group that had been missing for years. His last letter to me is still in my inbox waiting for the opportunity to respond, now a missed opportunity.
To the family of Greg Creede, my deepest condolences. He was highly respected and liked by many people, and he will be missed.

If we are lucky in life we meet someone who will forever change us. Greg was that wise, dear and cherished friend for me. He taught me a new way to think about things and to trust my inner voice. He showed me how to be strong and true to myself. I will think of him often, miss him always and remember him forever. Rest well my friend, my chicken wing.

What a sad shock!
Greg had such vitality and hopes for what he planned to make happen. We shared his enthusiasm and marvelled at his energy and accomplishments.
Barb and I both looked forward to visiting to join one of his planned Mensa event.
Our sincere condolences to his family.

I am desolate to hear of Greg's passing. He was a great man and was enthusiastic in vitalizing the Mensa chapter of Windsor. We had many good times at Mensa events in Niagara Falls, Calgary, Cambridge and London. Greg was recently elected head of the Windsor Mensa chapter and we were looking forward to meeting more often. I offer condolences to friends and family in Windsor. It was a joy to know him, even for such a short time.

Greg had become a wonderful friend. I enjoyed his humor, quick mind, and endless curiosity...even his bohemian approach to life. He'll be missed. My condolences to his daughters, grandson, and family--he treasured you.
