Gregory Green Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 9, 2025.
Mr. Gregory R. Green, 76, was called to Heaven on Sunday, September 7, 2025. Born on April 11, 1949, in Rochester, New York, Greg was a successful business man.

Greg is survived by his "Old Lady" Ruth E. (Powell) Hart, his dog Sparky, his children Christopher, Timothy, and Michelle, his sisters Debbie (Lou) Castelli, Susan Green, and Luanne (Danny) Cancelmi, his step daughter Samantha (Hart) Davis, many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, a few close friends, and pals from Mrs. McCarthy's first grade. He was preceded in death by his beloved companions Sheba, Jake, and Daisy, his cherished grandfather George Kurzrock, and many Brothers in the Biker community.

Greg was the owner of SOS Metal Products of Rochester. Was a successful salesman and Team Leader at Dorschel Automotive Group. He was an account executive for Crawford Broadcasting - Legends 102.7 and CBS Radio - WCMF 96.5 where he learned how much he enjoyed writing jingles. Greg was the General Manager of R & F Hunting.

Greg loved music. He was a member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church in Rochester and most recently found a home at Yalaha Community Church in Florida. He was a vintage hot rod and motorcycle enthusiast. Most of all he was a Dog's best friend. He will be fondly remembered for his simple advice. "The Truth is someplace in the middle", "It's not the years, it's the mileage", "Who can you spoil if not your dog" ,"Oil cheap - motor expensive" and "It's more important to be able to stop then go"

Greg requested no services. Instead, he reminded us to "cherish the ones you love while they are still here".
