Gregory Scott Hostetler

Gregory Scott Hostetler of Willis Texas transitioned April 15, 2025 at St. Lukes Hospital in the Woodlands, Texas at the age of 61. Greg was born October 7, 1963 in Crete Nebraska to Marlin and Barbara (Crisman) Hostetler, the first of four children. Gregory was married to Janae Charter in 1983 and to this union three children John, Jesse and Sadie; Greg later married Magdalena Yibrani Perez Ochoa May 9, 2014 and to this union four children Helen Perez Ochoa, Jennifer, Eduardo and Leonardo Solis.

Greg spent his career in retail management between grocery stores and truck stops with his last store Love's in Sparta Kentucky. Greg lived in many places Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, Nebraska and Louisiana but always came back to Texas. Greg enjoyed and collected cars and being with family.

Greg is survived by his wife Yibrani Hostetler; his children John and Katina Charter, Jesse and Candace Hostetler, Sadie and Nick Montalvo , Helen Perez Ochoa, Jennifer, Eduardo and Leonardo Solis; grandchildren Christopher, Kristina, Kaylee, Rylee, Deegan, Keyona, Ingrid, Samara; Mother Barbara Hostetler; brother and sisters Grant Hostetler, Kristine and Louis Sedita and Ricky and Kimberly Bell ; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Greg is preceded in death by his father Marlin (2015) grandparents Eldon (1975) and Mertice (2005) Hostetler and Harlyn (2016) and Nila (2014) Crisman.

Services will be held at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home Wednesday April 23, 2025, visitation will be held at 11:00 AM with services to follow at 12:00.
