Gregory Rocha Obituary
Born in New Bedford, son of the late Joseph E. and Evangeline (Martin) Rocha, he was a lifelong resident of the city.
He had worked as a pattern maker for States Nightwear for 42 years until his retirement.
A United States Army Veteran, Gregory was a devoted and loving husband, model father and kind friend to many. He cherished traveling with his late wife, whom he adored.
Survivors include his sons, Jeffrey Rocha and Wayne Rocha both of New Bedford; a brother, Paul Rocha of Framingham; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph, Edmund, Daniel and Leonard Rocha, Evangeline Correia, Pauline Gaj and Lillian Tremblay.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 5-7:15pm with a Service of Remembrance at 7:15pm in the Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, MA 02745. We grieve with you the loss of your dear dad. We know he was a wonderful man, a great father and a really good person to all.
