Gregory Charles Scanlon

Now five years have gone by since the tragic passing of our dear brother Greg! Our memory of him however is fresh and vibrant! So glad to have had him in our lives!

Although four years have now passed since he left this world, we will never forget him! He was very special, a truly original human being! We loved him very much and very much remember the love he gave us.

Happy Birthday! Wishing I could be with your friends today and speak of the many great adventures you had over the years. I miss talking to you. You will always be in my thoughts.

My poet brother Greg, whose last poem sent to me two months ago was entitled The Oneness of Being, will always be a part of me. He was a creative, sensitive soul, who lived life his way. May he rest in peace!

One of the greatest rewards of working at the Library is the wonderful people I have met over the years. Greg was one of the very best, and was such a super person in all aspects. I am so sorry for those closest to him. He was a genuinely humane person.

My deepest sympathy goes out to my husband, Rich after tragically losing his second brother, Greg. We have some great memories, which we will hold deep in our hearts forever.

Greg was one of my favorite library patrons. We had many discussions at the circulation desk over the past 10 years. It was an honor to know this truly wonderful guy. His smile and laugh will be greatly missed. My thought and prayers are with the Scanlon family.
