It is with great sadness that the family of Greg Tennant announces his sudden passing on Sunday, July 7, 2013.
Greg loved life. He was passionate about many things. He loved to read and travel. He loved sports, especially hockey, and was dedicated to his career. Above all, Greg was passionate about his family and his many friends. He will be deeply missed.
Greg will be lovingly remembered by Angela Tennant (nee Mohr), his wife of 29 years, his two wonderful daughters, Vanessa and Adrienne, his mother Lavinia Tennant, sister Shelley Tennant-Way (Jeff Way), mother-in- law Stephanie Mohr, brother-in-law Glenn Mohr and many other friends and family members. Greg was predeceased by his father, Wayne Tennant and father in-law Gerry Mohr.
Please join us for a celebration of Greg's life on Saturday, July 13 at Riverbend United Church, located at 14907 - 45 Avenue NW, Edmonton, at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice.

im saddened by the news of greg. to his entire family my heartfelt condolences. thru lyn and wayne and as young hockey players we enjoyed the entire tennant family and greg was a bit younger but always there and shelly too. i would love to connect with lyn sometime soon,i hold the greatest memories and greg was so much like wayne. sincerely rick comrie

I recently was in Edmonton and I heard of Greg's passing.
I am so sorry for your loss. We have lost touch over the years, but I will always fondly remember growing up and being a part of the Tennant family. Greg was like a brother.

Greg was the guy that would work hard to set up a day at the lake or get together and then just kick back, smile and enjoy all of his friends and family having a good time. My memory of him will be standing in a group of people with a huge smile on his face.
