Gregory Michael Turpin, 52, Foristell, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015, in Foristell.

Gregory was born May 31, 1963, in Troy, the son of Richard Turpin and wife Mary Lou, nee Fanning. He was the beloved husband of Sandy Turpin, nee Stern. They were united in marriage Sept. 27, 2003, at Riviera Maya, Mexico. Gregory was the proud owner and operator of Turpin Trenching. Some of his greatest joys were spending time with his family and farming. Gregory will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Turpin, Foristell; mother, Mary Lou Turpin, Foristell; seven children, Dennis (Jessica) Turpin, Mitchell Turpin, both of Wright City, Casey Turpin, Courtney Turpin, Matthew Turpin, Cody Turpin, all of Foristell, and Angela (Josh) Knaust, Moscow Mills; three brothers, Jeff (Barb) Turpin, Jonesburg, Steve Turpin, Moscow Mills, and Tim (Stephanie) Turpin, Wentzville; one sister, Patty (Chuck) Koehler, Lake Saint Louis; father-in-law, Roy Stern, Columbia; six grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Gregory was preceded in death by his father, Richard Turpin.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 30, at Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville Parkway, Wentzville, from 1 to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be held Friday, July 31, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in the family's private cemetery.

Memorials to the American Cancer Society, in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 248, Wentzville, MO 63385 are preferred.

The family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Wentzville.

Turp, you will be missed by so many!! You were always a great friend to me and all you met!! I will always remember and cherish ALL the time and adventures we shared!! I will surely miss you Bud!! My sincerest condolences are sent to the family.
