Gregory Scott Utley passed away from a heart attack on May 8th, 2024, in Joseph, Utah. Despite his struggles, he is finally free from the pain and suffering of mortality.

He was born to Roger and Helen (Rasmussen) Utley in Salt Lake City, Utah, on December 14th, 1962. He graduated from Orem High School in 1981. He was passionate about sports and played basketball, football, and baseball. His fondest memories were playing Little League and Pony League with his dad as his coach. He served faithfully as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Canada, Calgary mission. He later graduated from Weber State with a Bachelor's degree in Business. His passion for sports continued throughout his life as an avid BYU and Indianapolis Colts fan. He also loved golfing any chance he got. He was married in the Salt Lake Temple on May 7th, 1992, to Sheri Lyn Davies (later divorced). Greg was successful in the insurance industry. He was proud of his four kids and enjoyed attending their games. He was also proud of their success in life and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Helen, and his brother, Jeff Utley. He is survived by his brother Kendall (Vivian) Utley and sister Jeanine (Scott) Reeves. He is also survived by his children Makail (Zac) Farnworth, Mason (Meghan) Utley, Marley (Tanner) Howell, and Maycie (Andrew) Talbot. He has eight grandchildren: Isla, Beck, Paisley, Gunner, Crew, Cooper, June, and Ryker.
