GREGORY WISNIEWSKI Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Feb. 16 to Feb. 17, 2017.
WISNIEWSKI GREGORY JOHN "WIZ"
Age 51, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Highland Park, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017. Beloved friend of Tina Marie Dugan; loving dog owner of Junior and the late Maxx (his sons); son of the late Chester and Bernadette Wisniewski; brother of Sharon (Ron) Heisel, Keith (Sharon K.) Wisniewski and Gary Wisniewski; also survived by nieces and nephews. Greg was a 1983 graduate of Central Catholic. He met many friends throughout his life playing sports through adulthood, working in the restaurant/bar business, for Blue Cross and in car sales. He was a diehard Pittsburgh sports fan and loved to golf, ski and the great outdoors all year round. He was a caregiver to those he loved and he loved all very hard. Greg's whole life was based on competitiveness, strength and he was very determined to the end! We fought the fight together, you're the ironman and my hero, and your reward is heaven! God bless you, Greg, you will be forever missed! Family and friends will be received on Friday from 12 noon to 8 p.m. at the ORION C. PINKERTON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1014 California Ave., Avalon, 412-766-5600. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Church of the Assumption on Saturday at 10 a.m. www.pinkerton funeralhome.net

Keith & Gary

My prayers are with you! Greg was a companion and friend to my Dad, during a difficult time. They shared many laughs together and enjoyed each others company. I'm very grateful and thankful that he was able to help with the caring of JOE aka BIG DADDY. Greg quickly grew to love him. Your parents did a wonderful job it was shown in the testament in Greg's character and in you guys to be the caring men that you are. Greg talked about you all the time and your parents that he so greatly missed. Greg is now in Heaven, in the comfort and peace of your parents. He is watching over and will be in all our hearts forever. He will be forever missed. GOD BLESS! Love, Mare Mare
