You left us far too soon, dear Cousin. We remember your smile and your warm laugh, always taking pictures at every family event. We cherish the handmade gifts you lovingly made us thru the years.
We are brokenhearted.

Gretchen helped to make my childhood joyful and my adult life a joy. Her joy of life and her hug made me feel so loved. My friend, you are with God. My deepest sympathies Ken to you and your family. Megan, Adam, and Family, I am deeply sorry for your loss.

The Raebel family are wonderful neighbors who have brought such joy over the years to Brook Street. Gretchen always extended herself to others and was known for bringing holiday smiles to all. In a world where many people do not have their priorities straight, she certainly did. She took the time to "smell the roses" and "she never sweated the small stuff." No matter how busy she was, Gretchen always took the time to stop, talk, listen and show genuine concern for her neighbors. She also took great interest in all of the neighborhood pets. Her laugh and smile were the trademarks of her unique personality. She was one of the happiest people we ever met; she loved life and especially her family.

Gretchen was a gifted soul who mastered wisdom, peace, humor, empathy for others and strength. She graduated onto heaven early with the highest of honors as a gifted soul with no more lessons to learn in the school of life here on earth. She taught everyone she encountered how to truly live life.

God Bless the Raebel Family. We are sure you will continue to make her proud until your family reunion in heaven. In the meantime, there is a special angel watching over all of you.

We are here for all of you if you need anything. We care beyond words and will miss Gretchen very much.

Gretchen was the heart and soul of the 7 Gahn grandchildren, she was the leader, first to start a family, first to be a grandparent, first to bury a parent, and now first to leave this world, good bye Gretch!
