We have 3 paintings from Gustave, we purchased when my husband and I just got married, 35 yrs ago. He would let us make monthly payments and then when [aid for, we would pick up from his house. He was an amazing person and artist. I just was thinking I hadn't seen him at an art show recently and decided to search his name. Was so sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go to his lovely wife Marilyn. I know Gustave is painting up in Heaven now. Lots of love, Patti & John Dunlap

In about 1973 I purchased one of his art works of Mexico. It still hangs in our home where we continue to receive warm comments on its beauty. I treasure his art work- it took me back to my roots as my Grandparents were from Mexico. I will always be grateful for the beauty he captured in his art. God bless you during this time of mourning for such a talented man.

He was my friend and my teacher. Oh what fun we had at lunch after class. I will remember him and think of him forever. A wonderful gentle man.

So terrible sorry for your loss, so blessed to have met him and care for him while at LVCC. I will keep Marilyn and their family in my prayers.
