Guy Arco, beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on April 22, 2022 at the age of 70.
Guy was born on January 24, 1952 and grew up in Dobbs Ferry, NY, where he resided until he attended college in Delhi, NY. He spent the next part of his life in Rockland County, NY, where he eventually married Mary Ann Hearn. They recently celebrated their 43rd anniversary in March.
Guy was known for his big heart and oversized personality. He loved to be with his family and friends and meet new people. Guy and Mary moved to Brick, NJ, in 2021 to be closer to their sons and the ocean.
Guy was preceded in death by his parents, Guido and Elizabeth Arco. He is survived by his loving children, Tara Van Der Hay and her husband, Harry, his two sons, Christopher and Matthew, and Matthew's partner Michael Karam. He is survived by his brother, Lee Arco, and his sister, Lynn DelVecchio. Guy also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation and funeral services will be held on April 26 at the Church of the Visitation, 730 Lynnwood Ave., Brick Township, NJ. The viewing will be held between 9:30-10:30 a.m. and services will be at 11:00 a.m.

Our hearts go out to the Arco family. We were happy to have Guy as a neighbor for many years in Nanuet. Maria and I will keep him in our prayers. Our deepest sympathies Mary, Chris and Matt. Rest in Peace.

Guy and I both worked at MLRM in the 1980’s. I remember him for his hearty laugh and good spirit. I regarded him as a friend. My sincere sympathy to Mary and family. Rest In Peace, Guy.
