Guy PERRON Obituary
April 24, 1931 - October 20, 2013
It's with great sadness we announce the passing of Guy. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 59 years, Nancy, son Roy, daughters Denise and Yvonne (Fatih), granddaughters Rukiya and Akasya, "surrogate granddaughter" Angela, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Guy was born in Hull, Quebec and moved to Calgary in 1952. Married Nancy, then continued west to Richmond, B.C. with his family in 1973. Guy was known for his great sense of humour, making people feel welcome and always lending a helping hand. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed woodwork, curling, crib and was a member of Minoru Place Seniors Center. No funeral by request, donations may be sent to Canuck Place.

I WAS BLESSED TO MEET GUY IN MY LIFE TIME, HE WAS A JOY TO BE AROUND ALWAYS HAD SOMETHING FUNNY TO SAY TO MAKE YOU LAUGH. WHEN HE CAN DOWN SOUTH THE FROG HAT CAME WITH HIM. It was an honor to have known Guy as a friend and close cousin. We can all learn from his special way of looking at life. I don't think I have ever seen him in a bad mood, and he always made us feel special. We will never forget the 'no vacancy' sign, and the flag when we arrived for our visits. Although we will greatly miss him, we know he will live on through Nancy and his children and grandchildren.
