Dear Mrs Zenaitis
A few years ago my son had a great math teacher in high school. She encouraged and supported him. I told this teacher and also wrote a thank you letter to her, it basically said she is Mr Zenaitis.
She asked me what I meant. Mr Zenaitis made me realize what skill I had and made me apply it. I did not believe him at first in 1980 at LBP but he was right. He was so right I obtained my BSC of mathematics, specialization in Statistics and have a great career at Standard Life that supports my entire family. All of this because I listened to Mr Zenaitis. I wish he knew how much he meant to many of his students. I can only tell you how sad I am of his passing, I have thought of him many times over the years, and wish I could say thank you. I know many other students feel the same way. He did great for many of us, he is someone special in the world, I can only wish you my condolences during this sad time, but know he will continue to be great in the heaven high above, Thank you Mr Zenaitis, thank you for what you did. Your total dedication and passion in teaching resulted in greatness for many of us. With heartfelt condolences, sincerely, Stephen Pompura

Dear Mrs. Zenaitis and family,
Mr. Zenaitis was my mathematics educator at lester B. Pearson High School. Years later, Guy was a colleague and role model. His passion for both education and mathematics were clearly evident and stimulating. God bless you and rest in peace, Guy. Mrs. Zenaitis, to you and your loved ones, please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time.

To the family of Guy Zenaitis
Rainbow at Sunset of Life
Look at a Sunset out on the distant Horizon
the Horizon is so far away, like the setting Sun
Look at that Rainbow, at the end of life
it is colourful, the colour of pain and strife.
In many people the pain at the end
is like those colours of the arc which around clouds does bend
That arc is bent like the back of people who lived their live
lived in splendour of health; then with sickness rife
Look at the colours of those laden clouds
they are a curtain of what is now held in shrouds
A curtain of the story of one's life
now tears do rain, as we pay the price
We pay the price of feeling pain
and see not what this all will gain
We all must accept that every life
must come to an end; hopefully not in strife.
Look at the colours of that Rainbow clear
it is the colour of hope we await all year
The colour of life in all its form
like the colour we saw when we were born
Perhaps we'll see a Rainbow of a perfect end
or see dark clouds of pain from battle, which we cannot fend
At the end of that rainbow we all will meet
where, from our creator, we'll find a treat
This treat is Rest for our body now so weak
and now our souls can freely speak
Speak of those days when we lived fine
as we now bask in Everlasting Sunshine.

PS: Guy was my teacher, so many, many years ago, he guided me and taught and he understood that a new immigrant may have some trouble adapting. With his Help I adapted. Thank You Guy. We will meet again in the next life

I was shocked and saddened to read about Guy's sickness and death. My late husband and I always so enjoyed our walks at he Botanical Garden and conversations with Guy. Whether it was about birds, music or the Garden, his passion and humour were so contagious. My thoughts are with you in your time of sadness. I will remember Guy as I walk through "le bois d'Orlando", as he called it, at the Garden.
