METHUEN — Mrs. Guylaine (Pelletier) Cantarella, 41, beloved wife of Agatino Cantarella, died Monday, Dec. 21, 2009 in the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill surrounded by her family.
Born and raised in Lawrence, she was the daughter of Cyrille and Marie-Marthe Raymond-Pelletier. She had resided in Lawrence most of her life prior to moving to Methuen five years ago.
Guylaine had been employed by Proto-Pac Engineering in Wilmington. She loved the sun, the beach or sitting poolside. She also enjoyed music and always being in the company of those she cared about. Everyone that knew her would say that she was the best mother, wife, sister, aunt, friend and a true angel.
In addition to her husband with whom she shared 18 years of marriage, she is survived by her 14-year-old son, Nicholas Cantarella of Methuen; three sisters, Gaetane Pelletier of Derry, N..H, Micheline Augusta and her husband John of Pelham, N.H. and Suzanne Morin and her husband Jean-Rock of Derry, N.H.; four brothers, Gervais Pelletier and his wife Della Dube of Degelis, Quebec, Rejean Pelletier of Degelis, Quebec, Richard Pelletier and his wife Johanne of Pelham, N.H. and Marco Pelletier of Lawrence; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her funeral Mass will be held on Monday, Dec. 28 at 11 a.m. in St. Lucy's Church, Merrimack Street, Methuen. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Barker Street, Lawrence.
