Gwena Rae Tinker

Gwena Rae (Healy) Tinker, 62, died on Tuesday October 15, 2024 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born on January 24, 1962 in Cumberland, MD, raised in Keyser, WV, lived and raised her children in Greenville NC, and recently moved to Pittsburgh, PA to be close to family and receive medical care.

Gwena's passion in life was taking care of people. She made friends everywhere she went and with everyone she met, including the medical staff that helped care for her during her final weeks. Gwena will be remembered for her kindness and generosity as well for how loyal and protective she was of her family and close friends.

Gwena was preceded in death by her sister Tana Leilich and her brothers Tim, Terry, and Jeff Healy. She is survived by her siblings Gary Healy, Sandy Brafford, Danny Healy, Wendy Healy-Spiker, Paula Snider, and Matt Healy. "Gwena the Great" is sorely missed and celebrated daily by her husband, Jack, and their children Kara, John, and Cameron.

There was no public visitation or services. However, Gwena loved ice cream and to honor her memory the next time you enjoy a cone, think of her and remember the sweetness that life offers us.
