Gwenna CAMPBELL Obituary
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville after a short illness with family by her side on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the Late David Campbell of 41 years. Loving and devoted Mom and Mother-in-Law of Jon Campbell (Alison), Shauna Rekker (Scott). The best Grannie ever to Taylor, Hayley, Zachary, and Clare. Pre-deceased by her parents Bruce, Eva Sloan, and sister Jane. Gwenna will be missed by extended family and friends especially her breakfast ladies. The family would also like to thank her wonderful PSWs, Hannah, Rutchie, Adele, Jackie, and Karen. A special thank you to the staff at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville for their care and compassionate support. By her request cremation has taken place with no service. Burial will take place in Sunderland. Donations in memory of Gwenna to Durham Regional Cancer Centre, Colorectal Cancer Canada, Lakeridge Health Bowmanville would be appreciated.

Gord and I would like to send our sincere condolences to Jon and Shauna and family. We were so sad to hear of your mom's passing. As Gord's wife I had few times that we got together over the years, but my memory of Gwenna will always be her beautiful, warm smile and that says it all about your mother - warm, kind and loving. May your cherish your memories of her and keep them alive by remembering her with her grandchildren. Our thoughts are with your during this difficult time.
