Hamp Edward Clubb, Jr.Robstown, TXHamp Edward Clubb, Jr., was born August 20, 1955, in Kerrville, Texas. He is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Shannon Sheffield Clubb; children, Andy (Ashley), Isaac (Amy), Destinee, Kelby and Catalina; his grandchildren, Madison, Reece and Blake; sisters, Patti (Steve) Cummins of San Antonio and Leola (Ron) Cole of Sandia; brothers-in-law, Jack (Faith) Sheffield of Sandia and Scott Sheffield of Corpus Christi; sister-in-law, Stacey (Mark) Miller of Phoenix, Arizona; numerous nieces and nephews, along with many, many other family members and friends.He is preceded in death by his son, Edward Spencer Clubb; his father, Hamp Edward Clubb, Sr,; his mother, Lola White Giffin; and grandparents.Hamp moved from Kerrville to Corpus Christi in 1958 and has called it his home ever since. He attended Tuloso-Midway High School and worked in the oil field and trucking industries his entire life. He was a member of Calallen Baptist Church and served on the board of The Miracle League, serving children with disabilities in which his daughter, Catalina, participates.Hamp enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing his harmonicas and participating in IBCA sanctioned cook-offs with his team, 'The Ticket'. He was an extremely devoted father to all six of his children and taught them many life lessons through his countless stories that they will cherish forever. At a very young age his grandfather, Reverend Stanford White, taught him to walk with the Lord and share his love. He never met a stranger and knew someone everywhere he went. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at Calallen Baptist Church on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Shriners Hospital of Houston, Texas.
