On Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, age 44, of Moon Twp. Beloved husband of Miranda Gabriel; loving father of Andrew (age 13) and Chris (age 10); son of Farid and Samia Gabriel; brother of Hebra (Hossam) Antoun of Toronto. No viewing. Funeral Prayers will be held at St. Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church, 995 Melrose Ave., Ambridge, PA 15003 on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 12 Noon. Although it has been 8 years I know for the family it feels like yesterday. I sit and cry happy tears as I re-read the wonderful things spoken about this wonderful man, husband and father. This man called me sister and he will never know how much that meant to me. He is truly missed. To the family, if you are reading this, you were always talked about with such great love. Hani you left a home in my heart. I think of you often and always with a smile.

I'm so sorry to just see of Dr G's passing. He was truely a Dr to think 'outside the box' and helped me a great deal. Always smiling, energetic, and was very proud of his sons and spoke about them ofter. Comforting thought and prayers for his family.

I just learned of Dr. Gabriel's passing and my heart is over-flowing with sadness. He was one of the kindest, most compassionate, most joyful persons I have ever met. His faith in our Lord was so obvious in everything he did. I will miss his bright smile and booming "hello" when he entered the exam room. Rest in peace, dear friend.

I just found out today about Dr. G. He treated me for almost 10 years and was the one Dr. that I truely trusted. He always paid special attention to my case and knew my history with out even having to look at my chart. I cried when I was told. This world lost a very devoted and special Dr. and Man. He was the only Dr. that I truly trusted and no one will replace him. He was one of the FEW Dr.s that truely cared about his patients. He took the time out to take your needs into account and not just send you in and out without getting your issues resolved. He will be truely missed

Just found out about Dr. Gabriel. Our condolenses from Pat and Ray Novak. Dr. Gabriel was the only one who after seeing many doctors found out my wife had broken vertabrea and repaired it and gave her instant relief.Nobody will ever replace him but he left part of his knowledge with his new assistant but thats who Dr Gabe was all heart.

So saddened to hear of your loss. I am a patient at Gabriel Pain and Spine and haven't had Hani as my doctor there due to his health problems, but I know his care, love and compassion has been instilled in his staff there. I also had the pleasure of working with Dr. Gabriel at W.M.C. and he is one of the most considerate, loving, and spirited (Gabriel/angel) people you could have the blessing of being around. I will keep his family and staff in my prayers. I know he is in heaven now, but he won't have to be handling anyones pain there. May God Bless each of you.

I was saddened when I heard the news when Dr Gabriel left his practice to care for his own health. I cried the entire way home. He has been in my thoughts and prayers from that day on. Not only was Dr. Gabriel a great doctor that helped me avoid a second back surgery, I considered him a very good friend. He put the needs of his patients before his own. I was the first patient to pass out in his office after a pain shot, but he was very professional and helped me get through it and continued to treat me...but only at the hospital. My wife and I will keep his wife and two boys in our prayers to help their healing process. Thank you for being a great doctor and a great friend!!!

I was shocked and very saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Gabriel. I was refered to him by Dr. Price, my other wonderful doctor. Dr. Gabriel was without a doubt one of the most careing, soothing, polite and funny Dr.'s I have ever had. He helped me have almost a year of a normal life again. The procedure was rough but he talked and kept my attention from the pain. It is hard to find careing and helpful doctors so I will sorely miss him. Just the time spent with him during appointments was enough to know he was a wonderful human being. My shock of his passing came because I din't even know he was ill. I knew he had surgery for something and he was out for something, but he never indicated he was enduring such a terrible battle.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I am sure he will hold you and help you through your pain now. May God bless you.

It breaks my heart to know Dr. Hani Gabriel is no longer among us. As a colleague, I admired his wisdom and compassion and always knew my patients would receive the utmost in quality care. As the daughter of a patient, I never once doubted my mother was in the right hands and my family will be forever in his debt for returning my mother to her activities without pain. As a patient, I am so very thankful he was able to relieve my pain and allow me to get back to my life and my patients. As a friend and fellow child of God, I am so humbled to have known him and his gentle spirit and strong love for the Lord. Miranda, I pray God will give you strength and His comfort to help you through what must be such enormous grief and feelings of loss. I will pray for you and your family to find courage through this time and hope for the time to come when you will be reunited in Heaven.

To the Gabriel family - I was so saddened to arrive for my appt. today to hear of Dr. Gabriel's passing. He was one of the kindest doctors I've ever known. I still remember going to him for the first time in April of this year and I was so scared about having to receive an injection in my neck for spinal stenosis. He helped to calm me down and guided me thru the injection with such great care and concern. I was never scared after that because I knew I was in great hands. In just the short time I've known him he truly cared for his patients. He made such a difference in my life in helping me to deal with the chronic pain I had for the past year. I want to wish you all peace in knowing that Dr. Gabriel meant the world to my son, Tom. I want everyone to know a short fact. Dr. Gabriel called my husband Rich and spoke with him for over an hour about his pain even though my husband was not his patient. I have never met Dr. Gabriel, but I have heard a lot about him and from my son, and surprisingly from my husband. I wish everyone the best. I hope I don't get my son in trouble, but I have one of Dr. Gabriel's mouse pads that has his logo on it. It is very fitting that angel wings surround his name.

Words can't describe the emotion I felt when I heard of the passing of Dr. Gabriel. Dr. Gabriel was an extraordinarily kind and wise man with a passion for life and family. We spent hour together comparing notes on life, our sons, religion and music. If you spent a minute with Hani, it didn't take long to realize that his life revolved around his wonderful wife Miranda and his sons. He loved them dearly. I can not describe how much Dr. Gabriel has changed my life. I met him prior to him starting his own practice, and since then he has been my mentor, "brother", and most of all, a friend. He has always made time for me, even though he LITERALLY ran around his office, room to room. I had the pleasure of assisting Dr. Gabriel with procedures, and I admired that his patients always came first. I also admire how he taught me that family always comes first. He always made it clear that Miranda and his children were the reason he woke up with a smile each day. My heart also goes out to Dr. Gabriel's staff. They have welcomed me with open arms. My heart breaks for you. I know we are never to question God but I just don't understand. God already had an Angel Gabriel and I wish he did not call "our Angel Gabriel" home to him so soon.
Please know that Dr.Gabriel was an extraordinary Doctor with a kind, caring and gentle soul. He had such a joy and passion for his work that you rarely see.
