Hannah Cousins Obituary
Hannah was born July 17, 2000 in Danville, VA. She was a senior at Tunstall High School where she was in the ROTC Program and was studying Criminal Justice. She was an avid reader and loved to play her X-box. Her love for her family was her priority. Family came first for Hannah.
She is survived by her mother, April (Bruce) Hatch of Burlington, N.C.; her father, Justin (Lorina) Cousins of Axton; 2 sisters, Kayla and Kaylee Cousins; 2 brothers, Joseph and Nathan Cousins; grandparents, Roger (Ronda) Cousins of Axton, Johnny (Susan) Lopp of Axton; great grandparents, Marie Tatum, Norma Cousins and George (Sandi) Thomasson, and Honorary Great Grandparents, Jay and Carol Carter.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Roy Crowe and Vicki Winston and paternal great grandparents, William Tatum and Frank Cousins.
Family will receive friends Thursday 5 pm to 8 pm at Compassion Axton Church, 6871 Irisburg Rd., Axton.
Funeral Services will be Friday 11 am at the church with Pastor Scott Porter officiating. Burial to follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tunstall High School ROTC Program.
Please have all floral arrangements delivered to the church.

Sweet Hannah, such a smart, passionate and kind young lady. You always seemed to have a smile as you walked down the hallway at PCTC. You would get so excited about some of the topics we were discussing in class and couldn't wait to share with me how these issues applied to you and your family and friends. I will miss our talks! You will always be remembered by your criminal justice class of 2018.
