She was born July 5, 1902, in Sullivan County.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ivan Delameter; her son, Ivan "Stub" Delameter Jr.; and her daughters, Genevieve Holden and Barbara Breitenstein.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty Griffin of Arkville; son-in-law, Robert Breitenstein of Woodstock; grandchildren, Terry Breitenstein and Jeanne Breitenstein of Woodstock, Larry Holden and Arlene Cobb and her husband, Eddie, of Poughkeepsie, George Griffin and his wife, Gina, of Arkville, Fred Griffin of Washington, D.C., and JoAnn Lanzi and her husband, Fred, of Wenell, N.C. Hannah will be remembered for her love of her family, her love of gardening, her great cooking abilities (especially her famous yeast rolls) and her willingness to help anyone. For many years, Hannah headed the "Bake Sale" at the Hospital Flea Market. She loved bringing in the money.
From a very early age, Hannah always worked. Her parents had a boarding house and when her father died at an early age, Hannah left school to help her mother. You name the job and Hannah had probably done it. She worked for many years cooking at Margaretville Central School, her son's restaurant, the Inn Between, and Kelly's Hotel.
She also volunteered at the Hospital Thrift Shop, and during her lifetime she was a member of the Margaretville Methodist Church, Margaretville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Margaretville Firemen's Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary.
Hannah gave her family many fond memories because she was such a special mother and grandmother. They all share a lot of "Hannah" stories.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today, June 4, 2007, at the Hynes Funeral Home in Margaretville.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2007, at the Hynes Funeral Home in Margaretville, with burial services in Margaretville Cemetery immediately after the funeral. The Rev. Joon Lee will officiate.
Memorial contributions in Hannah's memory may be made to the Margaretville Methodist Church or Mountainside Residential Care Center.
The family would like to thank her wonderful caregivers at Mountainside.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived.

Hannah was my babysitter growing up and I thought she was the coolest. She taught me how to crochet which I still do time to time and I use to help her in the kitchen. She use to make this goulash which was out of this world. We called it Hannah's goulash. The cinn. rolls and her strawberry ruhbarb pie was the best. I have talked about her baking skills on many occasions. I will and still do think of her often.

Sincerely,
Kelly Blakeslee
