HANNAH KATZBERG 1931 - 2006 With great sadness our family announces the passing of our Dear Mother, sister and "Nanny", Hannah Katzberg, after a courageous and valiant battle with heart disease. Hannah passed away peacefully on February 8th, 2006 at the Regina General Hospital. She was born November 24, 1931 in Yorkton, SK and married Ron Katzberg in 1958. Hannah was predeceased by her parents Fred (1991) and Pauline (1983) Stupak; mother-in-law Elsie Katzberg (1993) and father-in-law Sam Katzberg (1972); brother John of Yorkton in 1986 and husband Ron in 1988. She is survived by a very supportive, caring, and loving family of daughters, Patti of Regina, Lori of Calgary and son, Blaine (Cheryl) of Regina; grandchildren, Kimberly (Trevor Gallenger), Marissa and Brett Katzberg of Regina; sisters, Olga Patrick (Paul) of Victoria, BC, Doreen Suschinsky (Bob) of Yorkton, Mary Stupak of Yorkton; sister-inlaw, Olga Stupak of Yorkton; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dolores and Alex Pinter of Regina; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Her family and numerous friends will miss her very loving, caring and compassionate nature along with her great sense of humor. Hannah was an avid sports fan of football, yeh Roughriders!, curling and hockey. Her greatest joys were cooking, knitting and her family. A heartfelt and sincere thanks to all her friends and relatives who visited her in the hospital with special thanks to Dr. Cheryl Zagozeski for all the loving and compassionate care to Hannah and the family. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 13, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers gratefully declined.
