WALLINS — Hardie Michael Caldwell, age 55, of Wallins, KY passed away May 27, 2014 at his home. He was born September 30, 1958 in Red Bird, KY to the late Hardie A Caldwell and Ruth Orrie Brown Caldwell. He was a retired coal miner.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Norman and William Herbert Caldwell and sisters, Frances Maxine Spanos and Kathy Caldwell.
Left to mourn his passing is his daughter, Heather Rose (Scott) Caldwell of Knoxville, TN, and granddaughter, Madison Rose Hoffsis of Knoxville, TN; brother, Kenneth Earl (Imogene) Caldwell of Wallins, KY; sisters: Theda Lea Saylor of Crab Orchard, KY, Charlene (Herman) Helton of Helton, KY, Christine (Samuel) Caldwell of Helton, KY, Louise Noe of Mars Hill, NC, Pat (Bill) Graves of Lexington, KY, Gail (Arthur) Saylor of Wallins, KY, special friend, Kim Ellison of Wallins, KY and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, May 30, 2014 from 11AM to 1PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home. Funeral will follow at 1PM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant with Rev. Jimmy Thomas officiating. Burial will be at the Salt Trace Cemetery, Bledsoe, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
