Harmon Steven Steve Pierce

Harmon Steven “Steve” Pierce, 73, of Kannapolis went to be with His Lord and Savior on Mon., April 26, 2021 following a long period of declining health. Steve was born December 23, 1947 in Cabarrus County, NC a son of the late Harmon Jack Pierce and Mary Elizabeth Smith Pierce. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Joan Marie Pierce Plott. Steve was retired from Cannon Mills Plant #1 cutting department. He was a member of Centerview Baptist Church, Kannapolis. He was a 1966 graduate of A. L. Brown High School. Family members left to cherish his memory are a brother, Douglas L. Pierce, Sr. and his wife Celeste S. Pierce of Kannapolis. He is also survived by two nephews, six nieces, four great nieces and two great nephews. Service: Funeral services to celebrate Steve's life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Centerview Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Willie Rash. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 P.M.-2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family requests that social distancing be observed and masks be worn.
