Harold Joseph "Joe" Adami
PEORIA - U.S. Army Retired MSG Harold Joseph "Joe" Adami, 74, of Raeford, NC, formerly of Peoria, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.
Mr. Adami loved woodworking, fishing, hunting and riding a motorcycle, which he rode all of his life. He was a lifetime member of the Harley Davidson Association and Special Forces Association. He worked in communications his whole life.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Adcock Funeral Home in Spring Lake, NC. Interment with military honors will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Fort Bragg, NC. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Adami is survived by his wife, Rebecca Adami of Raeford, NC; sons, Anthony Adami of Roseboro, NC, and Ricky Adami of Fayetteville, NC; daughter, Jeannine Geddie of Eastover, NC; step-sons, Chris Walker and wife, Ashley, of Fayetteville, NC, and Brian Brown of Southwest Palm Bay, FL; and brothers, Gary Adami of Peoria, IL, and Ronnie Adami of Metamora, IL. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
