Harold Jack Brooks

Harold Jack Brooks, age 99, of Vernon Hills, raised his family in Wilmette, beloved husband for 68 years of the late Dorothy, nee Eisman; loving father of Renee Haskell and Lorren (Debbie) Brooks; adored Zaide of Kim (Alex) Neiman, Kevin (Shelby) Haskell, Terry (Cindy) Brooks and Brian Bakal; proud great grandfather of Eli, Elliott, Riley, and Addison; devoted son of the late Irving and the late Dora Brooks; dear brother of the late Norton (Carole) Brooks; fond brother-in-law of the late Morris Eisman; treasured uncle and friend of many. Harold served honorably in the U.S. Army, in the European Theater, during WWII. In 1950, he opened Little Men's Shop, the premier destination for boys and young men clothing on the North Side of Chicago. He was commonly referred to as the "Mayor of Devon." Harold was loved by everyone who knew him. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Service Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 Block N. of Lake Cook Rd.). Harold's service will be livestreamed on his webpage at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com.
