Joanne has been my best friend since we met in 1971. My favorite memory of Joanne“s Dad Harold was at a Cubs game he took us to back when we were 11 years old. Mr. Burns sat next to me and started into a meditation. Being the persistent curious kid I was, I continued to pester Mr. Burns by asking him what he was doing. Mr. Burns remained calm by continuing to politely explain to me that he was meditating. Harold Burns was one of the best Dads and kindest men I knew. The Burns family treated me like one of their own. In turn, my family considered Joanne as one of our family members. I am extremely grateful to have discovered my soul sister under the tetherball court at Logan school back during the summer going into 5th grade. I love Harold Burns and the Burns family!
