Harold 'Punk' McMillen, age 78, of Cloquet, passed away Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005 at his home. He was born March 28, 1927 in Sarles, N.D. to Frank and Theodora (Salvorson) McMillen. Harold was a World War II Army Veteran. He worked as a machine tender at Potlatch Corp. for 35 years and retired at the age of 61. Punk was a member of the Hebert-Kennedy VFW Post 3979 and the Carl Anderson American Legion Post 262 of Cloquet. Punk enjoyed a long and happy retirement. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Roy, Vernon, Russell and Lloyd McMillen; and two sisters, Marie Oskerson and Helen Laubach. He is survived by his wife, Faye; three sons, Rick (Jeanann) McMillen of Trempealeau, Wis., Randy (Karen) McMillen of Cloquet and Rob (Marni) of North Branch, Minn; two brothers, Kenneth McMillen of Northom, Minn. and Glen McMillen of St. Paul; one sister, Esther (Stanley) Lukenbill of Big Falls, Minn.; and 7 grandchildren, Kristy, Katie, Kyle, Giles, Garrett, Gage, and Matthew McMillen. VISITATION:5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005 at Nelson Funeral Care. The visitation will resume on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 from 12:00 noon until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service also at Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet. Interment services will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery with full military honors presented by the Cloquet Combined Honor Guard. The family would like to express their special thanks to the St. Luke's Hospice Program for their wonderful home care. See online guest book at www.legacy.com. Dear Auntie Faye, Rick, Randy and Rob,I have such wonderful memories of uncle punk. Never once did I ever see him angry, he had the patients of Job. It was always great to see you all at Christmas and in the summer we had some great times. Our love and prayers go out to all of you. I wish I could be there, but I'm waiting on the arrival of my second grandchild
