I have so many fond memories of my dad teaching us to swim, taking us sledding and sitting around the house (or campfire playing the guitar & singing. He taught all of my girls to play the piano and dance to "Put You Little Foot..." We all loved listening to his stories, reading his poems and even diving off of his shoulders. Tra-la-la-tweedlely dee-dee, there's peace and good will... Thank you, Dad, for all you did to try to help us and teach us. We will miss you, Becky Doll (4th child - 2nd daughter)

Cregg Zehnle, I am Laura's son-in-law, and we have made him a part of our family for 30 plus years. We enjoyed many holidays, hunting and fishing trips. He was a great friend to my father Arnold as well as Claudine and our children and grandchildren. Of course Laura will miss him greatly, as well as the rest of our family. Harold never thought much of this e-mail .com stuff, but I have never been as good as him with his poetry. Love from the Zehnle Family

Grandpa took my bother and I on many adventures, camping, fishing, river runs, etc. He was the last of the true "Jeremiah Johnson's".

Harold was a fun Dad. When I was a child, we often sat out on the back porch in the evenings and he played his guitar and we sang the old cowboy songs. I will miss his good-natured ways.
