I worked for Harold at South Modesto Drug Store, starting around 1967 to 1969 and again in 1976. I began while in high school. His friendly demeanor and compassion for all people was what attracted my appreciation of him. He was a great influence for me to become a pharmacist too. I owe him for all of his friendship and support including hiring me for a summer internship. He is one of the few remarkable people in my life that I will always fondly remember. Rest well, my friend.

Harold was my husband, Dennis´, hunting partner at the Modesto Gun Club. It seemed like they were always very happy, especially after a great day of duck hunting, and enjoyed each other´s company. Harold, being my fellow Trojan from USC, and Margaret accompanied us to the National Championship in Miami in 2005. We all had a great time and made wonderful memories. He and Margaret are missed. My condolences to his family.

It was a sad day and the loss of such a wonderful person. Harold was a caring and compassionate man. His family and friends will miss him dearly. He was such a giving person. We had crossed paths in our lifetime, and there are moments I will never forget. That cigar he always smoked will stick in my head forever, while he sat under the Moosehead in his home. He will forever be missed. God Bless his family during these trying times.
