Harold Roy Sowers, age 83, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away peacefully at The Pickering House of Lancaster, Ohio on October 5, 2024.

Roy was born September 29, 1941, in Jackson, Ohio at home to Herman and Essie Sowers. He graduated from Wellston High School in 1959. Roy worked for Karshnar Sales for 30 plus years. He was a jack of all trades and a master of many. Roy was highly respected for his work ethic. Roy's passions in life were antique tractors, spending time with family, gardening, hunting, and riding 4-wheelers on the Hatfield and McCoy trails. Above all, he cherished his role as a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Roy is survived by his children, Ray (Laura) Sowers and Ike (Bonnie) Sowers; sister, Marcella Brodbeck of Florida; grandchildren, Raymond Jr. (Stephanie) Sowers, Tiffany (Brian) Sowers, Dani Sowers, Alisha Sowers, Ike Sowers, and Dallas Sowers; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Gavynn, Hayden, Faithlynn, Marshall, PJ, twins Tyryn and Taleah, Klutch, triplets Axyl, Nova, and Lexus; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margie Sowers of 58 years; daughter, Cindy Sowers; parents, Herman and Essie Sowers; several brothers and sisters; and grandchildren, Bruce and Joshua.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 11, 2024, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio. Burial will follow at Bell Cemetery in Allensville, Ohio.

Calling hours will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Pickering House of Lancaster, Ohio.

Roy will always be loved by many and deeply missed
