STRUZER, Harold. Surrounded by his loving family, it is with our immense sorrow that we announce the passing of Harold Phillip Struzer on Saturday, September 29, 2007 after a lengthy illness fought with courage and dignity. He was the most devoted best friend to his wife Phyllis Ruth Wagner. Dedicated father and father-in-law of Stewart and Robin, Helaine and Robert Corber, Cheryl Struzer, Marla and Glenn Schwartz. Most cherished "Papa" to Erin, Stacey, Daniel, Jeremy, Zachary, and Ryan. Dear brother-in-law of Marsha and Irving Ptack. He will be forever be in our hearts and will be greatly missed by his niece, nephew, and all those lives he dearly touched. "Daddy, we hope you finally rest in peace." The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Dialysis Unit and the 15th floor of the Montreal General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Graveside service at the Congregation Shaare Zion Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield on Monday October 1, at 1 p.m. At the request of the family, shiva will be held in the strictest of privacy. Donations in his memory may be made to the Dialysis Unit c/o Montreal General Hospital Foundation, 514-934-8230.
