Harold Traywick Obituary
Funeral Services will be held at 11am, Wednesday October 12, 2016 at Fountain Hill United Methodist Church, with Pastor Jeff Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Morgan & Son funeral home on Tuesday, October 11th, 2016 from 6pm to 8pm.
Harold was born March 31, 1933 in Marshville, North Carolina, the son of Bruce and Etta (Davis) Traywick. He married Bobbie Rose Tucker in November, 1957 in Chesterfield, SC; she predeceased him on May 21, 1998.
In his career, Harold ran a meat route, owned Traywick Construction, raised cattle and horses, and also owned a turkey farm. Harold's passion was horses. He spent many years breaking and training them with his sons and grandson.
Harold is survived by his sons Ricky (Teresa Bearden) Traywick of Oakboro, NC, Randy (Mary Davis) Travis of Tioga, TX, Rose Arrowood of Marshville, NC, David (Dawn Sims) Traywick of Marshville, NC, Linda Sue Traywick of Marshville, NC, Dennis (Mary Cordier) Traywick of College Grove, TN; grandchildren Ricky (Leon) Traywick, Jennifer Traywick, April Traywick, Matthew Arrowood, Tiffany Funderburk, Kaitlyn Arrowood, Erika Traywick, Tucker Traywick, Justin Traywick; great grandchildren Gracie Traywick, Madelyn Rose Traywick, Calli Carlton, and Mason Hamer.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife and his granddaughter, Latisha Langston.

of your loss. I am so sorry. Mother and Dad moved from Marshville to Albemarle
in 1925. My Dad's name was Jessie and my grandfarthers Zackery. My great grandfarther's name was Berryman's jr. You know how many was in that family.

I met your father and brother at a horse sale in the early 80s. I was looking at a trick horse that he had and I noticed how much your brother looked like you. We were at the Palmetto horse sale in Piedmont S.C. and your dad earned my respect for not backing down on that horse after he and I were a few hundreds apart. He invited me to come up to N.C. to visit. He also said that Randy had some training in the horse too. I hate that he has moved on from this old world. God bless all of the Traywick family.
